2002 Acquisition Prize, granted unanimously by the jury, in the 11th Rufino Tamayo Biennial, held at the Rufino Tamayo Museums of the cities of Mexico and Oaxaca.

2001 Selected in the 5th Biennial of Monterrey, held in the city of Monterrey.

2000 Selected in the 10th Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial, held at the Rufino Tamayo Museums in the cities of Mexico and Oaxaca.

1999

Acquisition Prize in the 2nd Red-Hot Passion Contest, held by Johnnie Walker, with his work "Architecture of tea". Exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art, Mexico City.

Selected in the 4th Biennial of Monterrey, held in the city of Monterrey, Mexico.

1998 Selected in the 9th Rufino Tamayo Painting Biennial, held at the Rufino Tamayo Museum in Mexico City and at the Rufino Tamayo Museum in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico.
